Exceptional Quality, Exceptional Care

Over 750,000 exams were performed in 2019, which constitutes 55% of the CT volumes in the Toronto Centre Local Health Integration Network (TC-LHIN) and 45% of the MRI volumes. In addition to its clinical operations, JDMI is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and the Michener Institute for Education at UHN and is a world leader in both education and research.

As well as supporting radiology, medical radiation technologist, sonographer, and research trainees, the Advanced Imaging Education Centre (AIEC) serves as the continuing education arm of JDMI. In 2019, JDMI launched a dedicated AI Centre to harness the expertise and research being undertaken relating to artificial intelligence and big data in medical imaging.
